Dear Patient,
When caring for you, our doctors and physician assistants will always give you the time and consideration that you deserve. Whether a routine acne visit or a condition that requires medical or surgical treatment, we understand that what brought you to our office is important. We will do our best to answer your questions and make sure that you understand all of the options available to you. We firmly believe that everyone should treat his or her skin well, and during our visit, we will be happy to teach you about preventative care to help keep your skin appearing young and healthy.

The field of dermatology is ever evolving. There are so many new treatments now available for previously difficult-to-treat conditions. These new medications have made significant improvements in our ability to help people with chronic skin conditions. It is tremendously rewarding to be a part of these advances and be able to improve the quality of our patients' lives. We want to help you take advantage of all that modern dermatology has to offer.

Ronald Kerwin, M.D.

Ronald Kerwin, M.D

Ronald D. Kerwin, M.D. started as a solo practice in 1981 in West Bloomfield. He received his M.D. degree from Wayne State University after earning his undergraduate degree from Oakland University. He is the founding partner at Associated Dermatologists. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital, and then finished a residency in Dermatology at Wayne State Department of Dermatology. He is a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Kerwin is on the staff at both Detroit Riverview Hospital and Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital. He participates in the training of numerous student and resident physicians that rotate through ADWB yearly. Dr. Kerwin lives in West Bloomfield with his wife, Cheryl. He has four children and four grandchildren. He is a "Top Doc" from 2011 to 2016

Leonard M. Cetner, M.D.

Leonard M. Cetner, M.D. was born and raised in Southeastern Michigan. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He attended the Wayne State University School of Medicine where he received his M.D. degree and completed his internship at the Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Cetner received his dermatology training at Wayne State University where he served as Chief Resident in his senior year. He is board certified in dermatology. Dr. Cetner is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Wayne State University Department of Dermatology. He is on the staff at William Beaumont Hospital, Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, and St John Providence Hospital. His practice includes: general medical, surgical and pediatric dermatology. He also has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology and skin rejuvenation, which includes: BOTOX for fine lines and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), fillers, including Restylane, Restylane Silk, Perlane, Voluma, Juvederm, Radiesse and Sculptra, cosmeceuticals, as well as chemical and laser rejuvenation. Dr. Cetner lives in Bloomfield Hills with his wife, Shirley and their three children. He has been a "Top Doc" from 2010 to 2017.  Dr. Cetner has been a partner at Associated Dermatologists since 2009.
Aaron S. Cetner, M.D.

Aaron Cetner, M.D. was raised in the metro Detroit area.  Dr. Cetner completed both his Undergraduate and Medical School degrees at the University of Michigan, earning the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha award while in medical school.  He completed his Dermatology Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, after which he completed a Procedural Dermatology/Mohs Surgery fellowship under the direction of Dr. Ronald Siegle in Columbus, Ohio.  Dr. Cetner joined Associated Dermatologists in 2009, establishing the Mohs surgery laboratory within the practice.  Since that time, he has performed over 10,000 Mohs procedures, and has been named as a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.  Dr. Cetner has a particular interest in surgical reconstruction and scar revision, but also maintains an active medical dermatology practice in the Novi and Commerce offices.  He is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital, Huron Valley Hospital, and St John Providence Hospital.  Dr. Cetner lives in Bloomfield Hills with his wife, Emily, a Pediatrician, and their two sons.  He has twice been honored as a "Top Doc" in Hour Magazine.
Kimberley G. Crone, M.D.

Kimberley G. Behrens, M.D.

Kimberley G. Behrens, M.D., received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her medical doctorate from Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Behrens(nee Crone)  served as a resident in anatomic and clinical pathology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (Washington University in St. Louis). She subsequently completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at the same institution. She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and dermatopathology, and has practiced exclusively in dermatopathology since 2007. 
Michael A. Dorman, M.D.

MICHAEL A. DORMAN, M.D

Michael A. Dorman, M.D. received his M.D. degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He received his Dermatology training at Wayne State University Department of Dermatology, where he served as chief resident in Dermatology in his final year. Dr. Dorman has a special interest in Medical Dermatology. He is past president of the Michigan Dermatologic Society, currently a member of the Board of Directors and on the Third Party Payor Committee. He is board certified in Dermatology. Dr. Dorman is the Section Chief of the Department of Dermatology at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, as well as on the staff at William Beaumont Hospital as well as St John Providence Hospital. He is a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He lives in West Bloomfield with his wife, Norma, and their four children: Hillary, Tedi, Hershel and Pearl. He has been a partner with Dr. Kerwin at Associated Dermatologists of West Bloomfield since 1993. Dr. Dorman has been voted "Top Docs" in Hour Magazine for 13 consecutive years: 2005-2017
Suzanne R. Merkle, M.D.

Suzanne R. Merkle, M.D.

Suzanne R. Merkle, M.D. joined Associated Dermatologists in 1996 as the third physician in the group. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan's undergraduate and School of Medicine. Dr. Merkle completed her Internal Medicine internship at William Beaumont Hospital and her residency in Dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital. Currently she is affiliated with Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital and William Beaumont Hospital. She participates in many clinics and instructs resident physicians. She is a Clinical Instructor at Wayne State University. Dr. Merkle has had extensive training in several areas of Cosmetic Dermatology including: BOTOX and Dysport fine lines and wrinkles and for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), Fillers:  Restylane, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Silk. Restylane Defyne, Restylne Refyne and Juvederm Ultra Plus XC, Juvederm Volure, XC, Juvederm Voluma XC and Juvederm Volbella XC. She has a special interest in PRP: Platelet Rich Plasma therapy for the treatment of hairloss, as well as Kybella injections that reduce a double chin and all of this is in addition to her Clinical Dermatology practice. She lives in Bloomfield Hills with her husband, Dr. Alan Silverman, a Beaumont Cardiologist, and their three children: Brittany, Bradley and Jenna and her new puppy!

 Leonard Y. Kerwin, M.D. Was born and raised in Michigan. Dr. Kerwin completed his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan and medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Following medical school, he worked on malignant melanoma research at the Laboratory of Molecular Dermatology in the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute and then went on to do his internship at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Dr. Kerwin then completed his Dermatology Residency at Wayne State University before completing his fellowship in Procedural Dermatology and Mohs Surgery in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Kerwin's interests in Dermatology include a special emphasis on skin cancer treatment, scar revision, hyperhidrosis, cosmetic dermatology and skin rejuvenation including BOTOX and Dysport, and fillers including the Juvederm and Restylane line as well as cosmeceuticals. Dr. Leonard Kerwin will be seeing patients in the Novi office on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, in West Bloomfield on Fridays and Tuesday afternoons and in our Farmington Hills office Tuesday mornings. Dr. Kerwin continues to work and teach at the John D. Dingell Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Wayne State University Department of Dermatology. He is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital, Huron Valley Hospital and St John Providence. Dr. Kerwin lives with his wife Kim in Bloomfield Hills.  He has been voted "Top Doc" every year since starting at the practice.

Stacy Madany, Physician Assistant

Stacy Kato Madany, PA-C joined Associated Dermatologists of West Bloomfield in 2004. She is also a board certified Physician Assistant. Stacy graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to receiving an M.S. degree, Stacy attended Wayne State University where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biology. She joined ADWB after graduation from PA school and has always been interested in Dermatology. Stacy treats established patients for conditions such as acne and warts as well as seeing patients for routine office visits and surgical procedures. Stacy was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills. She is married to John, who works as a Mechanical Design Engineer and has three sons.

Maria Ammori, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant. She graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2005. Prior to receiving an M.S. degree, Maria attended Wayne State University where she earned her undergraduate in biology. She joined Associated Dermatologists of West Bloomfield and Commerce in 2007. Before joining ADWBC, she worked at a nearby Dermatology practice treating patients for a variety of dermatologic conditions. Maria sees routine office visits as well as performing many surgical procedures. She has a strong interest in medical dermatology as well as cosmetic dermatology. Maria resides in West Bloomfield, MI with her husband and two sons.
Jennifer Charron Ward, Physician Assistant

Jennifer Charron Ward, Physician Assistant

Jennifer Ward, PA-C has been with our practice since 2011. Prior to that, she was employed by Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and St John Hospital, Detroit as an emergency room PA. She is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy's Physician Assistant program and the University of Michigan-Dearborn's Bachelor of Science in Microbiology program. Today Jennifer works primarily in our Novi office but occasionally fills in at our other locations. Her hobbies include writing young adult novels and riding horses, and she has a passion for animal welfare. She has two grown children and two German shepherds, and lives in Berkley, MI.
Jessica Tacconelli, Physician Assistant

Jessica Tacconelli, Physician Assistant

Jessica Tacconelli, PA-C joined Associated Dermatologists in 2011. Jessica is a board certified Physician Assistant and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants as well as Michigan Dermatology Physician Assistants. She obtained her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Prior to receiving her Masters, Jessica attended Western Michigan University, earning her Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences. Jessica has always had a strong interest in Dermatology, completing one of her clinical rotations with the practice prior to joining. She treats patients for a wide variety of dermatological conditions with a special interest in cosmetic dermatology. She has a special affinity and gentle touch for treating children and teenagers. Jessica is married and lives with her husband and son in Bloomfield Hills.
